If your family has a garden that produces more than you can use, Feed Fannin encourages you to share it with our neighbors. You can deliver your excess garden produce to the Family Connections located at 101 Industrial Park Drive, or make arrangements for a pick up by calling; 706-632-6063.
Family Connections is located off of Ada Street north of the Hwy 515 bridge in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
From Hwy 515:
Turn at the light on the East side of the Ingles Plaza, travel north on Industrial Park Drive passing over the Railroad tracks just before you reach Ada Street, then make a right onto Ada St. Turn right at next road (just before the large gray sign that reads Fannin Industrial Park), and the first driveway on the left is Family Connections.
From downtown Blue Ridge;
Access Ada Street in Blue Ridge (by Brown’s Feed), and drive north to large gray Fannin Industrial Park sign. Make a right and first driveway on the left is Family Connections.
From the North:
Access Ada St by taking either Curtis Switch Rd from GA Hwy 60, or Barnes Chapel Rd which is behind Fannin Regional Hospital, East of GA Hwy 5 (both intersect with Ada St.), Proceed South on Ada Street until you see the large gray Fannin Industrial Park sign, (is not visible from the North). If you pass under the 515 Hwy Bridge, you’ve gone too far.
For those of you interested in volunteering to work with the Feed Fannin Gardening Crew and need directions to get to the Davenport Garden:
From the Fannin County Courthouse or West Main Street head in a Southwesterly direction until you come to an intersection with McKinney Street. Make a left onto McKinney Street and travel over the Railroad tracks to the next stop sign at East Main Street. Make a right onto East Main Street and continue in a southwesterly direction until you see the huge yellow Feed Fannin sign on your right. After seeing the sign there will be a driveway on your right that heads towards the Davenport Saw Mill. The garden will be on the right. Another landmark to look for would be the colorful Feed Fannin shed approximately in the middle of the field in front of the main garden.
If coming from the Ellijay, GA direction take GA 515 to Boardtown Road and make a right. Cross over the Railroad tracks and continue until you reach a stop sign at East Main Street. Make a left and continue to the Davenport driveway that will make a hard left downhill turn into the garden area. Again look for the huge yellow Feed Fannin Sign and the colorful Feed Fannin shed.
