Feed Fannin hosts a Community Garden that is the focal point for the group’s gardening efforts.   Members grow produce that is given to the Family Connection Food Pantry.  In 2016 we delivered 8,966 lbs. of fresh organic produce to the Food Pantry.  Also we donated a dozen fresh eggs for every family each month as well as a gallon of milk for families with children. In addition to our community garden, several plots are available for local residents to plant and grow their own fruits and vegetables.  Expert gardeners, who are Feed Fannin members, help guide residents as they work with their crops. Feed Fannin also participates in the Downtown Market held Saturday mornings from May through October in downtown Blue Ridge.  Local residents offer fruits, vegetables and local crafts for sale at the market.   The variety of produce varies with the seasons and many high quality, locally grown items can be found.  For more information on the Downtown Market, contact

The Feed Fannin Community Garden is an all volunteer effort.  You can help by preparing, planting, managing, or harvesting the produce.  In addition, donations of seeds, plants, and equipment help us produce and deliver a variety of nutritional fruits and vegetable to the Food Pantry and to the residents of Fannin County.  Volunteers are always welcome year-round.  Prep work begins in March/April, weeding and support are ongoing throughout the summer and harvesting as the crop ripen.
