Local Appalachian Herbs: Medicinal/Practical Uses

Renown herbalist Patricia Kyritsi Howell will give a presentation on local Appalachian herbs and their many varied uses. She is well known as author of the popular book MEDICINAL PLANTS OF SOUTHERN APPALACHIA and is the founder of the BotanaLogos School of Herbal Studies near Clayton, GA, now in its 26th year of operation. Ms. Howell is also the herbalist in residence at Foxfire and offers Mediterranean cooking classes at the John C Campbell Folk  School in Brasstown, NC.

$5 (or the equivalent in non-perishable canned food items, which Feed Fannin will donate to the Fannin County Food Pantry). No advance registration needed.
