Come to Quinn’s Greenhouse in McCaysville on Saturday, March 7, for a fun hands-on class on How to Start Vegetables from Seeds, courtesy of Feed Fannin. Ginger Montgomery and the nursery staff will provide materials and expert advice on readying spring vegetable gardens.
Have questions about which vegetables can be started from seed and when and where to plant them? Ginger can answer your questions with authority, thanks to her extensive experience with the family nursery. Ginger and her husband Gabriel own Quinn’s, which was founded by her grandparents, and their son, Dade, oversees its daily operations. This presentation has been one of the most popular programs offered by Feed Fannin over the years.
The class will run from 10-11:30 am, and the nursery is located at 1060 W. Tennessee Avenue in McCaysville. Admission is $5 or the equivalent in non-perishable canned food items, which Feed Fannin will deliver to the Fannin County Family Connection Food Pantry.
No advance registration needed. Questions? Call 706-964-1001.
